Collection of good practices on youth unemployment

The present publication was created by young people from Europe in their attempt to explore the complex causes of youth unemployment, to discover some solutions that have demonstrated their effectiveness in European countries and to develop together tools that youth workers could use to raise awareness on the problems caused by youth unemployment or to fight against it.  In this publication you will find three sections focusing on good practices and tools to fight against youth unemployment.

Toolkit – “Building bridges for a more inclusive rural Europe”

This Toolkit gathers a collection of games and activities which were tested during our youth exchange “Building bridges for a more inclusive rural Europe”. The participants decided to create it in this format with the main aim of supporting them in the replication of such activities in their local/regional/national contexts. This toolkit does not aim to be a manual with new resources, but rather a gathering of several proposals, that can serve both, less experienced and more experienced educators/ youth workers to plan a series of activities around this topic.

Toolkit on the topic of migration

In July 2012, in Toledo – Spain, numerous young people from all over Europe gathered to
reflect on a very hot topic: migration. Together, they tested the games you will find in this toolkit. This toolkit includes 6 activities: reflexion or fun games which we hope will help young people in rural areas to discover this issue and the coordinators and animators of events to work on the topic of migration.
